This is the all-new Mercedes GLB, a family SUV designed to slot into the line-up between the GLA crossover and the larger GLC. Based on the same MFA2 chassis architecture as the current A-Class, B-Class and CLA saloon, the wheelbase of the GLB is 10cm longer to give it extra practicality. The result is a car which, at 4.63 metres, is only 22mm shorter than a GLC. This particular Mercedes-Benz GLB is painted in Galaxy Blue and got the optional AMG styling package. Inside, the GLB gets the same MBUX infotainment system as the A-Class, with the option of twin displays, including a central touchscreen, and voice commands. The GLB will be offered with either five or seven seats. In the seven-seat configuration, the rear seats are even said to accommodate passengers up to 1.68 metres in height.
